Hey everyone! Anastasia, the queen of brows, recently released a new brow product, the Brow Definer.
The Brow Definer is a multitasking brow pencil. It’s able to mimic the look of brow hairs like Brow Wiz. But unlike Brow Wiz, the Brow Definer nib is shaped like a narrow triangle, giving it the ability to draw 3 different types of lines: a narrow, hairlike line (similar to Brow Wiz), a chunky line, and a flat, wide line that’s good for filling in large areas.
The packaging for Brow Definer is shorter and thicker than Brow Wiz, in order to accommodate the larger pencil point. The spoolie brush is also wider than Brow Wiz’s. I found this made it easier to blend the pencil marks and gave my brows a more natural look.
During application, I found that Brow Definer was creamy and easier to apply than Brow Wiz. I typically use Brow Wiz in combination with Dipbrow, but to test out the efficiency of this product, I did my brows using just the Brow Definer pencil.
Before and after! As you can see, my brows are naturally pretty sparse, so I need something that is durable enough to last all day or night and is also good with small detail as that’s important for building out brow tails that look similar. Brow Definer worked extremely well for my brows though! I was worried that with such a large pencil would make for a sloppy brow, but I didn’t have to do much more cleanup than I usually do! It was also faster than my usual Brow Wiz/Dipbrow combo, which is always a plus.
Overall, I’m impressed with this product! It works extremely well and gives me the appearance of a full brow that doesn’t look overdone or unnatural, which has always been my goal. The fact that I can use just one product and save time is a definite plus.
