Product Review – ELF Illuminating Palette

Hey everyone! I hope your week is going well!

The ELF Illuminating Palette is actually the first thing I’ve purchased from this brand. I’ve wanted it ever since it was released as the Ambient Palette several months ago, so when it was re-released, I jumped at the chance to buy it.

Like ELF’s other palettes, this palette is only $6, which is an amazing bargain. The formula of the powders is extremely soft and buttery, which makes them great to apply and blend out. The shades are all very glowy and give your skin a “lit from within” look, rather than a glittery BAM type of highlight.

The shades of this palette are great dupes for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, particularly Diffused, Mood, Dim, and Radiant Light. I am able to use most of these powders, with the exception of the darkest, as it is a bit too warm for me to use as a bronzer. The 3rd powder (bottom left) could even be used as a contour color for those with fair skin!

Overall, this palette is a steal and offers some great finishing powders/highlighters with a great formula for a very reasonable price.

What do you guys think of this palette? Let me know in the comments! ❤
